The report from the Gomery Commission investigating the Liberal sponsorship scandal has been made public. It dumps responsibility for the scandal directly in the collective lap of former PM Jean Chrétien and his staff.
According to the CBC, the Prime Minister has "referred the report to the RCMP for possible criminal investigations" (full story). Uh-oh. The Gomery Commission's mandate tied its hands somewhat regarding whom or what it could investigate. The Mounties won't be so restricted.
Time to settle in with one of these, because this is going to get interesting:
